A significant number of deceases, 16 million unnecessary days of hospital stay and large amounts of spending is caused by HealthcareAssociated Infections (HCAI), according to the World Health Organization (WHO) [1]. Major effort has been put into improving hand hygiene standards for healthcare providers (HCP) to manage hospital internal sources of contamination.
