Sodium-Glucose Co-Transporter-2 (SGLT-2) inhibitors, originally developed for managing diabetes mellitus, have recently garnered attention for their potential anti-cancer properties. This comprehensive review explores the mechanisms of action of SGLT-2 inhibitors and examines emerging novel perspectives on their role in cancer treatment.
